Background
The Bethesda Youth Welfare Center is Nagaland's pioneer Center committed for the upliftment of people affected and inflicted by the twin problems of Drug Dependency and Alcoholism in the State. It is a non-profitable charity Organization came into existence on the September 1, 1987, and was registered under society's Registration Act XXI of 1860, and as amended vide Nagaland (First Amendment) Act 1969, Government of Nagaland with a registration No.RS 3054, Dt.5.2.88 and FCRA Regd..No.164730060, dt.2.5.2002.
Over the years, it has incorporated several other programs in its area of work such as HIV/AIDS, Women and Child Health Care, Rural Development & Health, Research, promotion and Protection of Cultural Heritage, Flora and Fauna as per the need of the time.

Bethesda Youth Welfare Centre strives to bring hope into the lives of our brethren, affected & infected by Drug & HIV/AIDS related problems, the poor & needy through education, rehabilitation and health facilities, and promote socio-economic justice to the marginalized community and create a conduciveness in the environment for promoting wholistic development.
